Our particular solution built upon ACROW's large steel panels formwork system, allowed the execution of 4 stages in a single phase. This was achieved by enabling the casting of 4 structural elements simultaneously, as two piers and two pier heads were cast in one shot using our custom-made formwork system.

In addition to using our formwork systems, formwork supply, on-site training, assembly service, planning service, and logistics solutions were provided.

Using unique lifting equipment suggested by ACROW, steel forms of the whole pier and pier head were successfully lifted together with a weight of up to 16 tons.

The solution has been given the industrial innovation award “IBTAKER”, which was implemented by the Egyptian Ministry of Trade and Industry and GIZ.
